Welcome to the Colvin Family History website. This genealogy research tool is not just for your American cousins. Down through the years, we have had a few stalwart Colvin mailing list members from England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and Australia. I would like to see more of you, and for there to be more specific resources available to you. The latter is up to you to provide to the list and/or the website.
Since we now have a forum for Colvin genealogy discussion, there is no reason why the forums could not include topics for English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Canadian and Australian Colvins. It would also be wonderful to have a blogger to submit occasional articles of interest to non-American Colvins.
Here's the challenge to you. If you would be interested in moderating (seeding?) a forum discussion for one or more of those topics, please contact me. I'll let you know what's involved before you make up your mind. If you decide to contribute, I'll get you started.

Oil spill is a big problem that will surely ruin many lives.We connot just say that it's only oil spill and so we have nothing to worry about.If not prevented,this will lead to death of animals,plants and of course people.The Oil spill within the Gulf of Mexico is being identified as the, Oil Spill Gulf of Mexico 2010. The oil hit land late Friday, just as predicted, making the problem even worse than the awful issues which were already there. This is forecasted to be the worst environmental devastation ever. The worst oil spill we learn about to this day is the Alaska Exxon Valdez disaster from 1989, this disaster is predicted to dwarf that; spewing four times more oil weekly than the whole entire accident in Alaska. There's a storm coming in tonight that is causing high winds and bringing with it thunder and lightning. The concern is how the waves will spread the oil more, and the lightning might fire up the oil. Let's hope all ends wells for this catastrophe.
