If you want to ask the COLVIN mailing list a question without subscribing, please use the site Guestbook.  If you have a specific question, it will be forwarded to the list.  Please follow the guidelines in the Guestbook for framing your question.  A properly framed question will help our researchers narrow their focus.  A question like, "My grandfather's name was John Colvin.  Can you help me find my ancestors?" is just too difficult to research.
